Package: moc

Severity: serious
User: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Justification: FTBFS on i386
Hi,
During a rebuild of all packages in sid, your package failed to build on
i386.
This rebuild was done with gcc 4.3 instead of gcc 4.2, because gcc 4.3
is now the default on most architectures (even if it's not the case on
i386 yet). Consequently, many failures are caused by the switch to gcc
4.3.
If you determine that this failure is caused by gcc 4.3, feel free to
downgrade this bug to 'important' if your package is only built on i386,
and this bug is specific to gcc 4.3 (i.e the package builds fine with
gcc 4.2).
Relevant part:
> i486-linux-gnu-gcc -shared .libs/libffmpeg_decoder_la-ffmpeg.o -lavformat
> -lavcodec -lavutil /usr/lib/libvorbis.so /usr/lib/libvorbisenc.so
> /usr/lib/libtheora.so /usr/lib/libogg.so -ldts /usr/lib/liba52.so
> /usr/lib/libraw1394.so -ldc1394_control -lgsm -lz -lm -Wl,-soname
> -Wl,libffmpeg_decoder.so -o .libs/libffmpeg_decoder.so
> /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ldts
> collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
The full build log is available from:

A list of current common problems and possible solutions is available at
http://wiki.debian.org/qa.debian.org/FTBFS . You're welcome to contribute!
About the archive rebuild: The rebuild was done on about 50 AMD64 nodes
of the Grid'5000 platform, using a clean chroot containing a sid i386
environment. Internet was not accessible from the build systems.

Description:
moc - ncurses based console audio player
moc-ffmpeg-plugin - ncurses based console audio player - ffmpeg plugin
Closes: 482224
Changes:
moc (1:2.5.0~alpha3-2) unstable; urgency=low
.
* Added libdts-dev to BuilDepends. (closes: #482224)
* Build against new ffmpeg-free. ffmpeg flavours now all recognized ;)
* Run dpkg-shlibdeps with --warnings=0. Plugins reference symbols from source
package and other symbols. That's not a bug, so we want dpkg-shlibdeps to
shut up about warnings.
* Build-depend on dpkg-dev >= 1.14.17 for dpkg-shlibdeps --warnings
