Hi Christian, Multipath uses (regardeless of it's an initramfs or not) /lib/udev/scsi_id _except_ if you have specified an alternate path in /etc/multipath.conf (which also ends up in the initramfs). Could you check if this is the case on your system? I just double checked the sources and there really isn't any reference to /sbin/scsi_id anymore. Cheers, -- Guido
