Please explain exactly how this is a bug. What breaks? What doesn't work properly? What problems does this cause?
This is rather far from the only shared library in Debian that changes ABIs based on configuration options; given that Debian doesn't have eDirectory packages, it seems unlikely that this would affect Debian. Also, please explain why you think this bug is RC.
