Package: eciadsl
Version: 0.11-3.1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Switching to kernel version 2.6.18 has made the eciadsl completly unusable for
the owners of GlobSpan-based modems. But there is a patch published on the
homepage of the package which restores the normal function of the package on
the kernels 2.6.18 and later. Please apply this patch to the package.

The eciadsl package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/470680 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
