Hello,
How is the functionality of this program replaced by for instance
shorewall?
I was not able to achieve msn connection with shorwall on my
router/firewall. With Reaim I was able. Probably there are other
solution. But I couldn't find them. I would like to setup transparent
connections with computers from my inside netwerk to the msn network on
the 'internet'.
Please some advise would be nice to have.

The reaim package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
Package: reaim
Version: 0.8-5
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
The latest version of reaim which is released with etch does not work with
the msn protocoll.
After upgrading from sarge to etch I was not able to do a direct connection
with kopete, gaim and other MSN IM clones, from behind the proxy.
Downgrading to the previous release 0.8-2 made this problem disappear.
