It's the other way around. Because the current gcc-defaults selects different versions of gnat as the default depending on the platform, I cannot upload any other Ada package - especially ASIS which is tightly coupled to a particular version of GNAT. See #475365. Asis 2007 has been ready for a week or so, but I'm waiting for a new gcc-defaults so I can upload it.
