Package: icedove
Version: 2.0.0.9-3
Followup-For: Bug #461981

Hi,

On a fresh install, icedove does not work:

 - If it is ran for the first time, the import window appears, but there is no
response from any button. After closing the window, icedove crashes silently.
 - Otherwise, icedove just crashes silently, even with a .mozilla-thunderbird
   directory imported from another computer.

If I run "strace icedove", it outputs many things up to:

open("/usr/lib/icedove/init.d/",
O_RDONLY|O_NONBLOCK|O_LARGEFILE|O_DIRECTORY|0x80000) = -1 ENOENT (No such file

Interstingly, icedove on i386 and icedove on powerpc do not ask the same
question on the
first startup: on i386 it proposes to "Don't import anything", while on powerpc
it asks
if the things to import come from Netscape 4 / Mozilla 1 or Netscape 6.

Hope that helps,
