Package: tftpd-ha
Version: 0.48-1
Priority: serious
Justification: Policy violation, section 3.6

Tftpd-ha Provides: the 'tftpd' virtual package, but that package is not listed
in the canonical virtual packages list at
http://www.debian.org/doc/packaging-manuals/virtual-package-names-list.txt

This is a Policy violation and, what is worst, induces users to confusion as
this (and aftpd) do not provide the same behaviour. For starters, tftpd-hpa
uses /srv/tftpboot as the standard location for TFTP files whileas aftpd uses
/tftpboot.

Please either remove the provides or get together with other maintainers of
tftpd daemons and determine what is the common interface (and location of
files) so that users that install a package Providing: tftpd can make
reasonable assumptions as to its behaviou and *then* ask debian-policy to add
'tftpd' as a virtual package.

I would really encourage you to follow the second road, even if more complex,
as it would be better overall for all our users.

Regards

Javier
