I am not sure. As stated I also had the problems with -1 (which is in testing), not only the -2 recently uploaded, which contained that patch. And as far as I saw patches on the linked upstream mailing list, they contained ifdefs for kernel versions <2.6.25, so that shouldn't matter here, too.
