It only works for me if I have *all* these packages at version 2.12.3-1, including evolution-data-server and evolution-data-server-common which you did not mention here. Is this the case on your system? I did the following on my system: 1. Added unstable to /etc/apt/souces.list 2. Pinned down unstable in /etc/apt/preferences by adding: Package: * Pin: release a=unstable Pin-Priority: 200 3. apt-get update 4. apt-get -t unstable install evolution-data-server evolution-data-server-common I hope this works for you too!
