Package: xmms-osd-plugin
Version: 2.2.14-1.4
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Hello
Enabled plugins besides OSD:
libmpg123.so
libvorbis.so
libarts.so
My observations:
START XMMS WITH OSD DISABLED
Playback an ogg file, works fine.
Open preferences dialogue, click on the "enable plugin" checkbox for
libxmms_osd.so: as soon as it is enabled, the title info is displayed on
the screen, the popup "Couldn't open audio" appears, some fractions of a
second later playback stops.
After disabling the checkbox again playback can be resumed.
STARTING XMMS WITH OSD ENABLED
Xmms starts, OSD is displayed.
Upon starting playback, OSD is displayed again and the checkbox
"Couldn't open audio" appears. No sound is heard.
After disabling the OSD plugin, playback works fine again.
