Hi Muammar,

I forgot to say that this problem is caused when aMSN is using an erroneous
tk's version. Try this, please and tell me what
happens:

$ wish8.5 /usr/bin/amsn

This doesn't help, same error.

Could you tell me which version of aMSN you were using before upgrading?

Can't say for sure because I don't use it very often on this notebook. The
previous version was 0.97~rc1+dfsg1-5, but I don't know
for sure whether this still worked.

I know it is uncomfortable, but have you tried to purge aMSN and then reinstall
it?

Just tried this but it doesn't make any difference.

Thanks,

Joachim
