I'm guessing that the problem is the following bit in your
.gtimer/.gtimerrc file:

win_height
30672

fvwm2 didn't have any problems handling this, but it makes the window look
rather strange.  :)  Could you try hand-editing this to change the height
of the window in pixels to something more reasonable (300, perhaps) and
see if that makes the problem go away?

If so, the next step is to try to figure out how your window height got
set to an insane value.  Do you remember anything that might have happened
that would have done this?
