Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that I also see this problem. Actually,
I haven't tried d-i's mini.iso, but kvm version 58+dfsg-1 wasn't able to
make my previous VMs come up.

Also, it won't let me install new VMs as all that I got is a blank
QEMU/KVM screen with no output at all. I tried to launch KVM using the
default way, i.e. by typing the "kvm" command on a terminal and also
tried to made it listen on a display locally so I could connect using a
VNC client.

Either way didn't helped at all and I was stuck without access to my
previous VMs and no way to create new ones. The only way I could get it
to work again was to downgrade kvm to version 57+dfsg-2, which I got
from snapshot.debian.net.

I've been since holding this kvm version (57+dfsg-2), but I'm willing
to help testing a newer version with a possible fix for this bug.

Regards,
