Package: xcdroast Version: 0.98+0alpha15-11.1 Severity: serious I'm running Kubuntu Gutsy and have filed this bug report with Ubuntu (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xcdroast/+bug/179614). I was instructed to file a bug report to Debian as this is applicable in Debian too.
I went to install xcdroast today (sudo apt-get install xcdroast). It wanted to install 'cdda2wav' and 'xcdroast', so I agreed and xcdroast was installed. Running it from Konsole showed the following: ** (xcdroast:10381): WARNING **: No /usr/bin/icedax installed ** (xcdroast:10381): WARNING **: (Invalid lib-directory? Check -l option) xcdroast failed to start. Searching on the web didn't reveal much so I figured I would install 'icedax' on my own. A simple `sudo apt-get install icedax`, which installed 'icedax', seems to have solved the problem. The reason I'm filing this bug is because I'm wondering if icedax should be a dependency of xcdroast. I can't get xcdroast to run without icedax so I would imagine it's required. It was suggested that perhaps cdda2wav should have icedax as a dependency. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
