After tedious file removal/testing/restoring I finally got iceweasel working again. It turns out that a Berkeley DB file somehow was corrupt:
key3.db Everything started to work again when I removed it so the browser could recreate it. Strange. Could this be some libc6 problem? Anyway, it's working again for me so this ticket can be closed. :-)
