Package: fglrx-driver
Version: 8.44.3-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

My system freezes when the X server is started and the version of fglrx
from unstable is used. The version of fglrx currently in testing works fine.

Here are the details of my graphics card:

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon Mobility
X700 (PCIE) [1002:5653]

The system freezes after the X server blanks the screen but before
anything is actually displayed. The backlight remains on.
