All I know is that I had a working apache that lost its ability to log because apt upgraded mod-log-sql and, in so doing, deleted mod-log-sql-dbi due to the lack of libdbi0 >= 0.8.2. I'm just saying that the new version of mod-log-sql should not have been uploaded until the new version of libdbi was known to be in the tree. There was no info on packages.d.o as to how long before a working combination would be available. And the change did break the package. Had the new version been delayed until the dependency was known to be in the tree there would have been no inconvenience.... I hope my terseness didn't sound impolite; it certainly wan't meant to be. My deb boxen are remote and I was writing across a rather low- bandwidth ssh link. Thank you for the URLs above and for the work done maintaining the package! It is appreciated. -JimC -- James Cloos <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> OpenPGP: 1024D/ED7DAEA6 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
