severity 447219 important thanks I'm lowering the severity of this report based on the following observations: * There have been no indications that other users are running into this behaviour. * There has been no user follow-up as to whether the problem is still reproducible with 1.7.13. * Upstream points out that that the likely root cause is a lack of memory. * A full system hang as a result of running out of memory is either the result of a kernel bug (for which there is no evidence at this point) or of running user space applications without having set up appropriate resource limits (which is an issue for the system administrator, not for packaging).
