Hi, Based on past discussions on this bug and on #421053, I am now orphaning irssi. David Pashley has unfortunately been unable to dedicate enough time to maintain irssi, promising several uploads he never did. Gerfried Fuchs already mentioned interest in adopting irssi, and agreed on maintaining it on collab-maint. This seems to be the best way forward, as this will allow David to continue to help with maintaining irssi, if he wants to.
