It does segfault only when invoked without -f now. But when invoked with -f I get a very greyish display with some bluegreyish parts in it which seems to be sort of progress informations, and then the game itself comes up - but is unusable due to total lack of any frames per second, I guess it seems to be one frame every three seconds or such, in contrary to tremulous, nexuiz and warsow which perform pretty well.
