Hi, I cannot reproduce this with pbuilder current sid on i386, package builds just fine for me. Do you know about any special in your environment? Can you please set GIT_TEST_OPTS='--verbose --debug' in the environment, build the package again, and post the verbose output of the failing selftest set, or a link to the build log?
