No, Xserver 1.4 needs pixman 0.9.5 unfortunately. And there is no known fix yet (the upstream bug is not very active...). The debian bug severity has been increased so that people are notified of it before upgrading, that's not much from our side but it's better than nothing. We already got 4 people reporting it, so you don't have to be sorry for asking, this bug is very important :( Brice
