It does not seem to fix the problem: I installed you package, and tried examples given in bugs 439827, 440195, and 440342, and they all failed. my locale is Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8)
