Hi! I'm working on this bug. While trying to recompile with debugging options (noopt, nostrip), I realized this package was in serious need of some love.
So, I'm going to prepare a fix, that not only solves the segfault, but that will also include many changes to the packaging, and hopefully I'll even include the GTK2 patch. I expect to have the package ready later today, maybe tomorrow. In any case, I'll be uploading to the 10-day delayed queue. Just wanted to give a heads-up.
