Package: singularity
Version: 0.26a-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

When I upgraded to the new version of singularity just now, I can
no longer run the program. Error output is included below:

==================================================
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ singularity
open /dev/sequencer: No such file or directory
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "singularity.py", line 146, in ?
    g.load_music()
  File "/usr/share/games/singularity/code/g.py", line 146, in load_music
    makedirs(musicpath)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.4/os.py", line 159, in makedirs
    mkdir(name, mode)
OSError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '../data/../music'
==================================================

I am, of course, running the program as a normal user.

Note that it has always said "open /dev/sequencer: No such file or
directory" so that is not the problem. I'm not sure what is supposed
to create a /dev/sequencer link and where it is supposed to point -
possibly at /dev/snd/seq.

Thanks,
Andrew McMillan
