Thanks, that must have been oversight. The current package's source was
checked out from the upstreams SVN repository and tar'd up unaltered.
Its in a bzr branch
http://people.ubuntu.com/~robertc/opensync/upstream/.

I realise this email doesn't close the bug - but I hope it helps as the
fastest thing I could do.
