Hi, to make the package compile again, please add "lam4-dev" to Build-Depends. The package then compiles fine in cowbuilder. I would suggest to upload the package with this simple fix as soon as possible, so that other packages depending on petsc can also be uploaded, and then investigate, why it needs lam.
