Package: traceroute Version: 2.0.7-1 Severity: serious Justification: Policy 2.5
Hi! It seems that newest traceroute package has dropped alternatives handling of the binaries and adding conflicts against the packages it earlier shared alternatives with. Please reinstantiate the use of alternatives. The conflicts breaks coinstallation with a lot of other packages. And by the way - according to policy, only Priority: extra is allowed to conflict with other packages. Traceroute is Priority: important. (For example, aiccu needs stuff in iputils-tracepath - and now I can't have it coinstalled with traceroute) /Sune -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (200, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.20-1-vserver-k7 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages traceroute depends on: ii libc6 2.6.1-1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries traceroute recommends no packages. -- debconf-show failed -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
