Package: maxdb-7.5.00
Version: 7.5.00.34-7
Severity: serious

This package fails to build because CLK_TCK is no longer defined with
current glibc. You have to use CLOCKS_PER_SEC instead. According to
/usr/include/time.h, CLK_TCK is the "obsolete POSIX.1-1988 name"
for CLOCKS_PER_SEC.

> ven69-a.c: In function 'vcinit':
> ven69-a.c:71: error: 'CLK_TCK' undeclared (first use in this function)
> ven69-a.c:71: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
> ven69-a.c:71: error: for each function it appears in.)
> ven69-a.c: In function 'vccheck':
> ven69-a.c:87: error: 'CLK_TCK' undeclared (first use in this function)

Closes: 388106 422015
Changes:
 maxdb-7.5.00 (7.5.00.44-1) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * New upstream release
   * build with NPTL support on i386 because glibc 2.5 does not support
linuxthreads any more; remove all checks for NPTL or linuxthreads
from initscripts; *warning* NPTL support on i386 is untested upstream!
     (Closes: #388106).
   * fix FTBS with glibc 2.5, thanks to Martin Michlmayr (Closes: #422015).
   * fix build with gcc 4.2:
     - new patch 79_min_max
   * copy get_cycles() methods directly from linux kernel headers because of
     changes in glibc/linux-kernel include files
     - 75_linux_headers
   * add LSB info to init scripts
   * updated patches to apply cleanly:
     - 65_autostart
     - 71_gcc4_compile_fixes
