Version: 2.1.0-3
Severity: critical

Any attempt to compile a program using F4 or Build causes the X server to crash.

I thought I solved this problem last month, but it just popped up again :(

The problem was caused by one of the GNAT.Expect.Expect procedures,
used when launching the underlying compiler. The package GNAT.Expect
is part of GNAT, not GPS, but GPS contains a modified copy of it. The
original (GNAT 3.15p) caused the crash, and the copy from GPS didn't.
Now, the crash occurs even with the copy that came with GPS (I
verified that it is indeed compiled into the gnat-gps executable). I
need to investigate further.

gnat-gps 2.1.0-2 did not have the problem. The only difference
between it and -3 is a recompile (see the changelog). I am confused.

Note also that, by my book, any crash of the X server is a bug in the
X server. I will file another bug report against xserver-xfree86. I
appreciate any help in investigating this problem.
