Package: libasound2
Version: 1.0.14-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Hi, since the last upgrade to 1.0.14-1 no application plays sounds
anymore.
I tried alsaconf but it does not load any driver.
My card is correctly detected as Intel Corporation 82801DB/DBL/DBM
but at the end of the alsaconf procedure I get:
Running update-modules...
Loading driver...
Usage: /etc/init.d/alsa
{unload|reload|force-unload|force-reload|suspend|resume}
Setting default volumes...
amixer: Mixer attach default error: No such device
Saving the mixer setup used for this in /var/lib/alsa/asound.state.
/usr/sbin/alsactl: save_state:1253: No soundcards found...
....And no module has been loaded
best regards
