Working on that now.

Umm, well I'm not doing anything out of my way to build them, from my
reading of those build logs. It looks to me like the top-level Makefile is
invoking the one in the docs directory, but I've only given it a very
preliminary read through at the moment.

I just tried to build that, and had some other build issues relating to the
man page. I'll have to fiddle around some more.
