Here's the rest (I upgraded from etch/texlive-full/debiandoc-sgml (with tetex-base "rc") to sid, purged tetex-base and readded pdftexconfig.tex and modes.mf): -/etc/texmf/dvips/config/config.ps -/etc/texmf/texdoctk/texdoctk.dat -/etc/texmf/tex/latex/config/color.cfg -/etc/texmf/tex/latex/config/graphics.cfg -/etc/texmf/web2c/mktex.cnf Other packages might be affected as well. mktex.cnf is not necessary, the system works well without. The next release of tex-common will contain a copy of the file in /usr/share/tex-common and a note in NEWS.Debian. config.ps is not strictly necessary, dvips runs without it. The other three files are also strictly necessary for the respective components (texdoctk, color.sty, graphic{s,x}.sty). I suggest that we resurrect all four, although config.ps could be debated.
