That has already been done back then, and after some talking the upstream author was convinced to change it, and promised the change. Instead of bringing it up on the list, I'd rather suggest we look through the archives, find out which person had the best contact to him and ask this person to contact the upstream author. > He said till last september he wants to reupload a > fixed version?
