Package: apsfilter Version: 7.2.6-1.1 Severity: serious X-Debbugs-CC: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
It is not clear to me whether apsfilter is DFSG-compliant; the thread starting at [1] gives me doubts. Osamu Aoki <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> kindly started working with upstream to fix this[2] but nothing seems to have come of it; as of today, the apsfilter user guide says the same thing as it always did about needing to send a postcard. In my opinion, apsfilter should be moved to non-free until someone steps up and resolves this; until it is fixed, people can use magicfilter instead. What do you think?
