Can you do 'ls -al' in your /etc/wwwoffle/certificates/ directory?
I remember I also had I think a similar, and it was about the
ownership/permissions of that directory.

On my machine it is now:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc/wwwoffle/certificates$ ls -al
total 36
drwxr-xr-x 7 proxy proxy 1024 2007-02-02 19:53 .
drwxrwxrwx 9 miernik miernik 3072 2007-05-13 02:14 ..
drwxrwxr-x 2 proxy proxy 19456 2007-05-12 01:54 fake
drwxrwxr-x 2 proxy proxy 9216 2007-05-12 01:54 real
drwxr-xr-x 2 proxy proxy 1024 2006-12-10 21:48 root
drwxrwxr-x 2 proxy proxy 1024 2007-01-09 12:24 server
drwxrwxr-x 2 proxy proxy 1024 2006-12-10 22:24 trusted
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc/wwwoffle/certificates$

And it works.
