Ah, that's easy: You were using the newest version from May 2nd, whereas
Lucas tried on the first of May:

feynmf (1.08-4) unstable; urgency=low

  * Remove now-obsolete teTeX dependencies in favor of TeXLive.  Fixes
    build failure discovered by Lucas Nussbaum.
