Package: xmms-arts Version: 0.7.1-2 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
when I use crossfade with alsa plugin the xmms plays music just fine. However when I want to activate arts output ( because of conflicts in opening audio device with other applications ) the music skips. There is audio and it plays ok but it seems that xmms skips parts of the song. So a song of say 3 minutes is played in 30 seconds, the parts that are played sounding OK but lots of parts of the song just do not get played. the time reflects the skipping. I.e. it starts at 3 minutes and one second later it is at say 2.30 minutes etc. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.9-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages xmms-arts depends on: ii libartsc0 1.3.2-2 aRts Sound system C support librar ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libglib2.0-0 2.6.3-1 The GLib library of C routines ii xmms 1.2.10+cvs20050209-2 Versatile X audio player that look -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
