OK, the install should not have been busted if you use apt-get upgrade
(instead of) apt-get dist-upgrad (the upgrade of mozilla would have been
kept back if enigmail was not yet ready)

I will try to reproduce this tonight. I will try: install tbird 1.0.3-2
and enigmail; use dist-upgrade (e.g. enigmail is removed), upgrade to
unstable/install enigmail; go back to testing (e.g. remove enigmail,
install old thunderbird). Let's see if I can reproduce it.
