Package: postfix
Version: 2.2-20040621-1
Severity: grave
Tags: experimental
Justification: renders package unusable

postfix installation (experimental package) aborts because postinst call
of "newaliases" fails with this error message:

newaliases: fatal: dict_open_dlinfo: Expected "pattern .so-name
function" at line 11

Relevant entries from /etc/postfix/main.cf look like this:

alias_database = hash:/etc/postfix/maps/aliases
alias_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/maps/aliases

Of course the file exists and is of the right format, content follows:

root: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
admin: root
postmaster: root
hostmaster: root
webmaster: root
abuse: root
uucp: root
clamav: root

Any hint how to fix this? Without a fix, the package is unusable for me
and probably also for (almost) any other user.
