Package: ia32-libs Version: 1.1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
The .deb file includes /bin/cat and lots of other files (ia32-executables), which would overwrite the default files from coreutils and other packages in an ia64 system (which are ia64-executables). So dpkg denies installing the new version. Installing it anyways would result in having ia32 files for many important systemutilities which might slowdown the whole system. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: ia64 Kernel: Linux 2.6.10-1-mckinley Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
