Package: e2fsprogs Version: 1.37-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
On IA-64 it seems its not possible to create ext2 or ext3 filesystems anymore. I tested with 2.6.9 and 2.6.10 (debian packages), it worked on none. linux:~# mkfs.ext3 -F test mke2fs 1.37 (21-Mar-2005) Filesystem label= OS type: Segmentation fault This is tried with a file, same happens if I use it on /dev/md1 for example. mkfs.ext2 doesn't work either mkfs.vfat, mkfs.xfs work fine.
