When upgrading from woody to sarge:

Preparing to replace login 20000902-12woody1 (using 
.../login_1%3a4.0.3-30.3_i386.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement login ...dpkg: error processing
/var/cache/apt/archives/login_1%3a4.0.3-30.3_i386.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite `/usr/share/man/pl/man1/newgrp.1.gz', which
is also in package manpages-pl

Given that the shadow package maintenance team has now taken over this
package, we can know acknowledge all non-maintainer uploads which were
