Then fix policy and upstream. Then I'll consider this serious. For now its the established behaviour of a bigger force than the fhs, and out of my control to boot. I'm closing this as it is already documented, along with other issues, in both the README and lintian overrides of the package. Personally though (after maintaining this as long as I have) I now suspect the fhs will be the first to blink :-) It didn't have much to say about cross target files the last time I read it, and I've yet to see a solid proposal for locating these files elsewhere, so this one is growing roots and ever more likely to form the basis of anything that is. That's an argument for people other than me to have though, Ron On Sat, Mar 19, 2005 at 09:35:03AM +0100, Pierre THIERRY wrote: > Package: mingw32 > Version: 3.4.2.20040916.1-2 > Severity: serious > Justification: FHS chapter 4 > > No package should install a directory directly in /usr -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
