Well, i permit myself to ask you a special request, just to know if my assumption are correct : could you uninstall mldonkey and reinstall it. Here are the step : - save your current download ( répértoire /var/lib/mldonkey ) - stop the daemon - "apt-get remove --purge mldonkey-server" - remove the user mldonkey and the group mldonkey ( if they exist ) - check nothing lefts ( dir like /var/run/mldonkey ) - apt-get install mldonkey-server ( answer the debconf question ) - check if it is working. I know , that's not very nice to uninstall what you have finally made to work, but it will help me to understand. Kind regard Sylvain Le Gall ps: i know that you know that the /var/run/mldonkey should be reown, but i have already succeed in installing mldonkey-server with the debconf without patching, that is the reason why i am looking for the step which made it fails. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
