Now, a few days later, and with a re-installed laptop, I get the build problem also outside pbuilder. Building in a machine that has a few days old sid (actually, a qemu disk image from almost a week ago) still succeeds. As does, actually, even if I upgrade it to current sid (the configuration, in fact, that makes my laptop fail to build). Weird. The missing SWIG_TypeQuery is defined in /usr/share/swig1.3/runtime.swg as a macro, and there may have been an API change for swig so that this is now a macro and not a function. It seems that instead of declaring the function you have to do some includes (see top of runtime.swg). Doing that makes the package build, but running the sample game in adonthell-data fails.
