Package: nagios-text Version: 2:1.3-cvs.20050116-3 Severity: grave Justification: causes non-serious data loss
nagios fails to restart when invoked through the init.d script saying it is already running. If you kill the process manually and check : /var/log/nagios/rw/nagios.cmd /var/run/nagios You will see that nagios.cmd is still there and i don't know weither it is normal or not that /var/run/nagios is empty. I had to start nagios manually since the script does not see the proper running state of the daemon. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.29-grsec Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages nagios-text depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgd2-xpm 2.0.33-1.1 GD Graphics Library version 2 ii libjpeg62 6b-10 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libpng12-0 1.2.8rel-1 PNG library - runtime ii nagios-common 2:1.3-cvs.20050116-3 A host/service/network monitoring ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
