Package: perlpanel Version: 1:0.9.0-3 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Perlpanel just installed, with default configuration, when run loops using the whole CPU. I don't really know Perl but from a quick session with the perl debugger it looks like my $info = $self->{icon_theme}->lookup_icon(lc($icon), 48, 'force-svg'); in PerlPanel::lookup_icon always fails to return anything useful and the program descends into infinite recursion looking for a 'perlpanel-applet-missing' icon. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.10 Locale: LANG=pl_PL, LC_CTYPE=pl_PL (charmap=ISO-8859-2) Versions of packages perlpanel depends on: ii hicolor-icon-theme 0.7-1 default fallback theme for FreeDes ii libdate-manip-perl 5.42a-2 a perl library for manipulating da ii libglib-perl 1:1.062-1 Perl interface to the GLib and GOb ii libgnome2-wnck-perl 0.09-1 Perl interface to the Window Navig ii libgtk2-gladexml-perl 1.003-1 Perl interface to use user interfa ii libgtk2-perl 1:1.062-1 Perl interface to the 2.x series o ii libgtk2.0-0 2.6.2-3 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii liblocale-gettext-perl 1.01-17 Using libc functions for internati ii libxml-parser-perl 2.34-4 Perl module for parsing XML files ii libxml-simple-perl 2.14-1 Perl module for reading and writin ii perl 5.8.4-6 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction -- Michał Politowski Talking has been known to lead to communication if practised carelessly.
