OK, that is the area I suspected the problem was in. What I am going to do is downgrade the severity of this bug for now, until you have time again. If you can manage to rule out a problem with clam (i.e., the same thing happens with other packages) then we can close or reassign as appropriate. If it continues to happen only with clam, thenwe can always reraise the severity and look into it again.
